Be there or be SQUARE!

At next Saturday's Ridge Show, I'll be able to accept credit cards for the very first time, thanks to a handy little gadget called the Square. Cash, of course, is always accepted - but no worries if you run out. Barring any problems with the wi-fi, Studio23 will be good to go! Click the link above for more info about the show. It's Saturday, November 16, from 10am - 5pm. Hope to see you there.

And the best party guest award goes to.....

YOU...when you bring your host a bottle of wine in one of these fancy wine bags! Made from a soft silky burlap and lined with pretty prints, you'll be the hit of the party when you hand this to your hostess. She'll never notice the $2 bottle of wine inside.

These are coming with me to the Ridge Fine Art and Handmade Wares Show on Saturday, November 16. See you there!

Pouch Crazy

I love making these pouches because they're quicker to make than some of my bigger purses - which means I get to play with more fabric! These make great make-up bags, or another good idea - a friend of mine uses one to transfer her essentials when she changes from one purse to another. They sit flat with approximately a 4x5 inch bottom, and the zipper opening is about 9 inches. oh and p.s. they each have a pretty little glass bead for a zipper pull.

Reorganized, Reenergized and Re-inspired!

Cleaned out 4 bags worth of fabric I don't want/need anymore. All set to donate to a wonderful cause.

Stacked all my keeper fabric nice and perty so I can see it.

Scored some GREAT new stuff from a designer's stash at a local garage sale. So excited to get started on new stuff!

New Market Bag

My new obsession - the market bag. How cute is the pattern on this one? Roosters, cows, pigs and goats, oh my! You can buy this bag on my etsy page.

To market, to market....

Introducing the new Studio23 Market Bag. Designed with shopping in mind, I modeled this bag after my favorite reusable bag from Trader Joe's. No offense TJ's, but why not carry this instead of one of those plasticky ones! This will hold a good amount of bounty, whether it's a trip to the farmer's market, the grocery store, or to carry stuff to a party. And how 'bout those cute rabbits? Buy this bag here.
